What to expect

Our informal, two-hour, currently virtual gatherings, include:

  • a mixture of instruction and discussion
  • guided exercises
  • small group breakouts
  • practice opportunities

Expect to learn to listen to your body and move your body in ways that are okay for you. We suggest wearing comfortable clothing and bringing along anything that you need to support your body.

Expect to practice. We strive to create a brave space, where we can practice together as white folks.

Expect to lean into discomfort, but to be supported through that.

Our ticket price is a suggested donation of $10-$50 minimum. As an act of reparation, all money is donated to members who are a part of the Minnesota Healing Justice Network and/or who work in birth related fields.

What we expect from you
  • Show up as your authentic self, even when it feels hard.
  • Remain curious.
  • Participate & practice!
  • Share and be vulnerable as you are comfortable.

This group is facilitated by Amy Pierce, LMFT and Erin Tripolino, BSW, CD(DONA). We base our practices off of the work of Rachel Martin, LMFT of Cultural Coherence and Resmaa Menakem, MSW, LICSW, SEP.
